Kumail Nanjiani probably had one of the most surprising transformations for 2019. Dude got ripped! His shirtless pic that went up in December had everyone turning heads and clicking over to his Instagram account.
After seeing his before and after, are you interested in making some lifestyle changes too? We don’t blame you. However, while it’s great to use him as inspiration, keep in mind that he is a celebrity, which means that he has perks that us normal folk don’t have. He had trainers, people to create his meals for him, and a studio paying for all of this to happen. It’s much harder to achieve all of this without what he had, but of course, not impossible.
While you will need different foods and workouts to achieve whatever your end body goal is, these tips will still help get you there.
1.
Keep a Clean Kitchen
And by clean kitchen, we mean the food. If you don’t have a doughnut to reach for, there’s less of a chance that you are going to eat a doughnut. Keep your kitchen stocked with items that will help you create meals that are targeted for what your goal is. For example, for a lean and muscular build like Nanjiani’s, you will probably want to aim for meals that contain protein, vegetables, and none to very little carbs.

2.
Workout in the Mornings
We say, just get those workouts out of the way! Finish them in the mornings so that you don’t have to worry about them for the rest of the day. Who knows, if you find yourself in a really good mood after work, you might even want to fit in another workout.

3.
Don’t Obsess
Stay sane when getting fit by not obsessing over it. Have a life still. See your friends. It’s OK to indulge in a meal or cocktail here and there. Getting lean or gaining muscle shouldn’t be your main focus in life. Celebrities are paid to look this way. Even Zac Efron mentioned on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he didn’t want to glamourize his Baywatch movie body because it was ‘unrealistic’.
