One thing that we’ve noticed for those who have switched to a vegetarian or vegan diet is that sometimes they are sorely lacking when it comes to the protein department. Protein is a must to feeling full, overall good health, and getting strong and lean, versus just a skinny fat. If you’re having problems hitting your daily protein goal, try adding some of these items into your meals or snack times.
Don’t know what your protein intake should be? For the average women, it is about 45-55 grams of protein a day, but to get an accurate number, click over to Health.com to calculate.
