New Year, New Smoothies
Did you make a new year’s resolution to get in some healthier eats for your diet? Or maybe you didn’t and just love smoothies? We’ve come up with a roundup of nutritious smoothie recipes that incorporate both vegetables and fruits so that you can get in your vitamins and fiber to start off 2020 right. And you don’t have to just reserve smoothies for breakfast. We love drinking them, any time of the day!
Spinach is a great green veggie to add to smoothies because it isn’t overpowering and it is chock full of iron, calcium, and magnesium. We love the addition of hemp seeds as well for some bonus protein.
Ambitious Kitchen Wellness Smoothie
Turmeric root is thought to help with inflammation, while manuka honey is thought to be antiviral. Combine that with pineapple and spinach for a tasty combination.
The Vegan Atlas Blushing Berries Smoothie
You can use collard greens or kale in this smoothie for a nice dose vitamin C. Combine that with the antioxidants from the berries and this is a powerhouse smoothie.
Spinach and kale can both be found in this fruit and veggie smoothie. We especially are fond of the addition of flax seeds, which provide Omega 3s and extra fiber.

There is so much in this recipe from carrots and tomatoes to orange and protein powder. The avocado will provide extra creaminess.
Jenna Braddock Strawberry Smoothie
Celery adds a refreshing and light taste to the smoothies it’s blended into. Plus, we love mixing strawberries and orange together for a sweet touch.
